Works Bell's universal hub kit (commonly known as steering boss/steering boss) is a vehicle inspection compatible product that complies with vehicle inspection standards. Currently, while the auto parts industry is becoming more liberalized due to deregulation, consumers are required to have the ability to choose more reliable products, such as the obligation to make the safety of vehicles as a management responsibility of consumers. For example, the accuracy and geometry of screws and threaded holes to securely fix the steering wheel, the verification of the possibility of secondary damage caused by the driver's violent collision with the steering wheel in the event of an accident, and the selection of materials that can withstand a long service life considering metal corrosion and fatigue. Rather than changing the design again in line with the deregulation, we have established self-regulations to "comply with vehicle inspection standards" by utilizing existing technologies for products compatible with new models.

Works Bell was the pioneer of the 12-hole boss that shared the MOMO pitch (70mm) and NARDI pitch (74mm) for the first time in the history of steering bosses (patent application in 1977).
